Celebrating Resilience: Music by Iranian Bahá’ís

This special, fifth-annual concert shares the music and stories of resilience of Iranian Bahá’í musicians! These courageous musicians risked their lives and safety to pursue their musical education in Iran in the face of their government’s systemic persecution of Bahá’ís.
The music will be performed by Fahimeh Mehrabkhani, voice; Marianne Parker, piano; Maya Shiraishi, violin; and Tom Clowes, cello.
The concert is free and open to the public and will take place in the Claudia Cassidy Theater on the second floor of the Chicago Cultural Center.
