From Street Tunes to Sufi Art Music: Celebrating Egyptian Composers

Music by Egyptian composers of yesterday and today whose works capture the spirit and diversity of Arab music! This concert will include the world premiere performance of Peace Piece by Egyptian American composer Riad Abdel-Gawad.
This concert is the third in a residency of Crossing Borders Music at the Chicago Cultural Center.
