Crossing Borders Music at Artists of the Wall Festival

Nisa Pov, roneat aek (and Resident Artist of the National Cambodian Heritage Museum) and Crossing Borders Music string quartet perform live in Rogers Park at the Artists of the Wall Festival.
The 600’ Wall features 160 individual “artist spaces” of various sizes and shapes and runs along the lakefront between Farwell and Morse Avenues. Each year’s art remains on display until May, when the wall is again whitewashed and prepared for the next year’s newly themed art works. And so, began a tradition which has grown into an annual celebration and features live music with free performances by international artists against the backdrop of Lake Michigan.
It’s a true celebration of community, creativity, and music that is kept going by the work of the non-profit Loyola Park Advisory Council.
