Crossing Borders Music will share its “Stories and Music of Resilience” in-school performances, work with K-12 students exploring music and its links to other important subjects and ideas, and perform “Music Sustains Us: Haitian and African-American Spiritual Music,” a concert for all ages featuring arrangements of Haitian and African-American spiritual music by composers Julio Racine and Samuel Coleridge Taylor for keyboard, violin, and cello.
